Rida Abbas
Undergraduate Intern
Rida is a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Political Science with a minor in Global Studies. With academic and personal roots in both Pakistan and the United Kingdom, her interest in international politics carries a global perspective. Rida serves as an International Student Ambassador for the UCLA Dashew Center, where she supports cross-cultural dialogue and global engagement within the UCLA community.
Her research interests include hybrid democracies, border politics in postcolonial states, and the influence of religion on foreign policy formation. As an aspiring politician and foreign policy advisor, she intends to pursue a Master’s in Public Policy and gain experience through work with international think tanks and research institutions.
